Transfiguration

from what I’m not
   to what I really am

from the ordinary known
   to unknown possible

from the earthen clay and ashes
   blossoming into light

from the kiss
   only love can issue

from the life
   only hope may lead to

with no sound
   but silence

empty
   awaiting the fullness of joy

nothing
   becoming something

a treasure
   in the heart of God
